The Swiss based F1 team Sauber have rebranded as Alfa Romeo Racing for the 2019 Formula 1 season. The team announced that, ending 25 years of challenging under the Sauber F1 name.
The Italian luxury car manufacturer Alfa Romeo had already been the title sponsor of in 2018 F1 season when the team was known as Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team.
Over the past year, the Team made continuous progress and finished the championship in 8th place. The term of the collaboration has been further extended, with the ownership and management of Sauber remaining unchanged and independent. As Alfa Romeo Racing, the goal continues to be the achievement of ambitious results at the pinnacle of motorsport.
