2009 F1 world champion, Jenson Button says he says that fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton’s lap one incident was huge disappointment and he believes Hamilton can make podium finish at Silverstone.

“It’s obviously a massive disappointment for Lewis at Turn Three but the fightback is always good to watch. Button told Sky F1

“It’s interesting to see what tyre they’re going to put him on. His pace has been so good on that soft tyre and he’s been able to eek it out unlike everyone else.

“I think he can still make it on the podium. Looking at his time compared to the Red Bulls, he was five, six tenths, at worse quicker than them. He’s flying.

“To beat Sebastian and his team-mate? That’s tricky.” the Brit added.
