Renault powered McLaren and Honda powered Toro Rosso has confirmed the launch date for its 2018 F1 challenger.

McLaren confirmed that its new Renault powered MCL33 will be launched on February 23, one day after Ferrari launch and a few days before 2018 F1 pre-season testing.

No location has been revealed for the McLaren MCL33 launch, but it is likely to be in Spain.

Toro Rosso, who adapt Honda power supply that McLaren did not want, will launch its own car on the evening before the first test. An event is arranged for the evening of February 25.

Opening pre-season test begins at Barcelona on February 26. McLaren’s 2018 car will be their first to be powered by a Renault engine. The team has retained Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne as its drivers for the new season.
