Published

on

Following the first half of the season, Hungary to stage 2017 F1 second in-season test and the teams are revealing who will be their drivers at the Hungaroring post-race test.

The testing takes place on Tuesday August 1 and Wednesday August 2, with the teams are waiting this weekend’s Hungarian GP

The second and final in-season test characterizes a huge step in Robert Kubica’s motorsports career of what would be a outstanding Formula 1 return following his horrific rally accident back in 2011.

Stoffel Vandoorne and Lance Stroll are the only current Formula 1 drivers who will have to wait to start their summer holidays. Felipe Massa was previously scheduled but recently, the Brazilian replaced Stroll for Williams duties.

Massa withdrew from Hungaroring race after final practice early because he felt unwell. Williams’s reserve driver Paul di Resta replaced Massa for qualifying and the race, retiring from 18th with 10 laps to go because of an oil leak.
