Rosberg rules out Ferrari comeback

2016 Formula 1 world champion, Nico Rosberg has ruled out returning to F1 next year with Ferrari.

With the Maranello team openly considering replacing Kimi Raikkonen for 2018, reigning world champion Rosberg’s name has been mentioned as a candidate.

But the retired former Mercedes driver said: “No, it will not happen.

“It’s an honour that so much is speculated about me, but I am fully satisfied with my career,” German Rosberg told the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. “I have no regrets.”

Rosberg almost falls foul to Wimbledon dress code

Nico almost fell foul of Wimbledon’s strict dress code by forgetting to wear socks. The German, world champion last season before announcing his retirement, said he would have to go shopping following being told his bare feet and shoe blend meant he would be refused entry to the Royal Box.

Rosberg said: ‘No way, I made such an effort to be dressed adequately. I cannot believe that. I messed it up.’

The German added: ‘I cannot believe that, so I have to go shopping now, right?’
