Hamilton under investigation by Bahrain GP race stewards

Pole sitter Lewis Hamilton is under investigation by Bahrain GP race stewards and its could lose pole position for tomorrow Bahrain Grand Prix.

An incident in which the world champion allegedly reversed in the pit lane, in contravention of the rules, is being analysed by race stewards.

To The Team Manager, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team

The driver and team representative are required to report to the Stewards at 20:45 in relation to the
incident below.

No / Driver 44 – Lewis Hamilton
Reason – Alleged breach of Article 28.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, reversing 
in the pit lane at the end of Qualifying

The Stewards, having received a report from the Race Director, heard from the driver and team representative and examined video/audio evidence, have considered the following matter, determine a breach of the regulations has been committed by the competitor named below and impose the penalty referred to.

Fact Car 44 reversed in the pit lane.
Offence Breach of Article 28.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.
Decision Reprimand.
Reason A reprimand has been imposed on the driver due to the fact that no clear instruction
was given to the driver on where he should park the car after qualifying.
