Ferrari evolution offers Vettel confidence for 2016 F1 title fight

Sebastian Vettel preparing for 2016 F1 title challenge, He is expecting for a “big step” from Ferrari in 2016 and very confident with entire season progress.

The Four-time world champion joined the Ferrari from Red Bull and has won three grinds prix in his opening season; he is the only driver, who competes with Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.

“Well these things happen,” Vettel told the F1 website after the race in Mexico.

“We have gone very far since the start of the season so not everything can work out like you want.

“From the performance that we’ve shown all season long though it is clear that we will be there next year to fight for the titles.”

Expecting a “big step” from 2016 Ferrari

“You don’t join the team until you join the team, so a lot of decisions had already been taken, so were taken when I was there already. Vettel quoted by Crash.net

“[But] the season we have had so far has been phenomenal when you consider where the team was last year and the situation that we faced at the beginning with a lot of new people, a lot of change of position in the factory. Not that easy to digest for a team, but it has been great.

“Really strong getting the team together, so I am quite confident and hope that next year is a big step.”

The German crashed out of last weekend at Mexico, which was won by Rosberg. He is now P3 in the drivers’ championship.
