F1 set a post race test at Abu Dhabi for 2016 super-super soft

Formula 1 is set a Post-Abu Dhabi Grand Prix test, 12-hour one-day; plan was supported by teams at a meeting of the sporting directors.

F1 tyre provider, Pirelli has long been keen to settle the details of the test, which will take place on Tuesday 1 December, to gather data on its new fifth super-super soft compound.

Autosport reporting that – The test is open to all teams with Pirelli requesting they run at least one race driver each as they will have the most experience of the current tyres which will enhance the feedback on the new compound.

The Italian tyre manufacturer, is asking fans to vote on social media for their choice of livery for the new compound between purple and silver and it is understood the former is currently the frontrunner.

Also a two-day wet-weather test scheduled for next 25-26 on January.
