World champion Lewis Hamilton says that, no need to talk about incidents with Nico Rosberg at Austin, vitally Turn 1 at the start and the hat throwing after the U.S. Grand Prix.

The duo was clashed at Turn 1 at the start of last weekend’s US Grand Prix, after winning the race and, therefore, the Formula 1 World Championship, Hamilton tossed a cap at runner-up Rosberg when in the podium preparation room, leading the German driver to throw it back instantly.

Mercedes F1 team boss Toto Wolff said that the Turn 1 on-track row would be addressed however with both drivers.

“There is no need to talk, “Hamilton said.

“Everyone has a right to an opinion but it doesn’t matter, I won the race.”

Speaking of the cap throwing incident, the Briton added: “I picked up the three caps and mine was at the back with the number one on the side. I just threw it over to him. I literally said ‘here you go, mate’ and then it came back at me.

“It’s the worst thing to be my team-mate. On top of everything, he was disappointed with himself.

“I’ve seen Nico in lots of different lights over the years. The cap came past me and I’m like ‘no problem’. I’m completely oblivious to it but I understand.”
