Hamilton quickest in FP3, Alonso failed to set a time
Lewis Hamilton put Friday problems behind him to go quickest in the third practice session ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.

Friday pace-setter Nico Rosberg managed the final session before qualifying 0.498 seconds slower than team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Red Bull racing dropped down to sixth and seventh, Ferrari duo Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen move up into third and fourth. Sergio Perez made fifth fastest ahead of Ricciardo and Russian teammate Kvyat.

McLaren again fitted new engines to both its cars ahead of final practice and qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix in order to increase its pool of fresh power units for future rounds. They will starting at the back of the grid after collecting a combined grid drop of 105 places for unscheduled engine changes, had another difficult morning.

Jenson Button was 17th fastest and team-mate Fernando Alonso failed to set a time because of an exhaust problem.
