Rosberg stays on top in P2, Hamilton 4th & struggling with car
Nico Rosberg stays at the top of the timesheets during second practice session for the British GP, ahead of the Ferrari duo Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Rosberg recovered from a hydraulics problem to set the fastest time in the first session and then clocked a fastest lap of 1 minute 34.155 on a hot afternoon.

Defending world champion and local hero Lewis Hamilton struggled with the balance issues and he managed only fourth fastest, 0.466 seconds slower than teammate Rosberg.

“The car is all over the place. I can’t go any faster than I am now,” Hamilton said over the radio.

Red Bull duo Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo made in fifth and sixth fastest ahead Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen. Nico Hülkenberg set eighth fastest with Force India’s new b-spec machine.

Carlos Sainz Jr and Massa rounding out the top ten, ahead of Pastor Maldonado’s Lotus, team-mate Valtteri Bottas and the other Force India of Sergio Pérez.

Hamilton leads Rosberg by 10 points going into his home grand prix after the German won three of the last four races.
