Ferrari has confirmed that, Kimi Räikkönen will be fit for next round German Grand Prix, after his terrifying opening lap crash at the 2014 British Grand Prix.

Kimi ran wide onto the run-off out of the Loop, lost control on the grass as he tried to rejoin and slammed into the barriers under the bridge and Felipe Massa pitched his car into a spin to avoid a head-on accident with Raikkonen. That could have been a huge impact. And also the Italian outfit reported that, the onboard collision sensor recorded 47G’s

The Finn walk lamely away from the crash, and this incident resulted to race being red flagged for more than an hour.

Ferrari published about Räikkönen “Unfortunately, not all of it was positive, as Kimi Raikkonen was involved in a very scary accident on the opening lap: the Finn limped away to be checked in the medical centre. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries. “

“He will now have to rest but he will be back in time for the next round in Germany.”
