Lewis Hamilton has refused the reports that he is getting married to girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

The former X Factor judge touched down in the UK following a trip to Dubai in a maroon sweater and a black baseball cap which she pulled down to try and avoid the paparazzi who were all honing in to get the first shot of the rumoured engagement ring.

But when asked by The Sun if he was getting married, Hamilton replied simply: ‘No, I’m not.’

Nicole was also snapped arriving at Heathrow Airport yesterday with no sign of a diamond ring on her left hand.

A source told the paper: ‘There’s always speculation and they are very committed to one another but they have only been back together since Christmas.

‘They want to spend time getting to know each other again without having to worry about wedding bells.’

The pair broke up last July but rekindled their love at the end of the year. Lewis and Nicole have split several times during their rocky six-year romance with the couple blaming work commitments for the most recent break up.
