Alonso is not perfect, Hamilton unfocused, Vettel is currently the best – Berger

Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando AlonsoThe Austrian former Formula 1 racing driver, Gerhard Berger reviews on the last F1 season, and he compared the fighters Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.

Vettel took fourth consecutive world title and three times the Spaniard made runner-up behind Sebastian Vettel from four seasons. Lewis Hamilton consistently maintains his pace on his way and he improved well in qualifying single lap.

“After this year, I put Vettel for the first time in the first place. Alonso has shown this year that he is not quite perfect as I thought. He has led his team not doing well in difficult times. Just as he criticized Ferrari in public, that was not productive, since he has shown weaknesses.” Berger told Auto-motor-und-sport.

“Vettel also had his problems in the first half of the season. Since he would have one or the other can say, but he just kind of cool made and refilled his job. And Hamilton? That’s still not as complete as the two for me. Vettel and Alonso playing there already in a league of its own. The Speed of Hamilton is enormous, but he has too many construction sites in addition to racing.”

When the source asked, who has produced the biggest impression except the superstars?

“Just behind Vettel and Alonso comes for me Raikkonen. Great, what he still does. With Alonso he is now, however, reach its limits.”

“I am impressed by Nico Rosberg. I tell you, am underestimated. He has brought an unbelievable performance against Michael Schumacher. And now against Hamilton again. He brings to the team step by step to his side. They were at the beginning of all the Hamilton-fever. Now it is 50 to 50 And Rosberg has already made it the second time. For Schumacher it was the same. As has turned to Michael to all. He once turned the tables and is just about to do it a second time. The Nico I trust to a world championship.”
