Sebastian Vettel start from the pole and took dominant victory in Indian Grand Prix, this victory to seat his fourth consecutive Formula 1 world title.

Pole sitter Vettel start with Pirelli soft-compound and made first-pit at the end of second lap following he set medium compound for Indian GP. Felipe Massa and Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton had got rid of their soft-compounds.

The second Red Bull speedy Mark Webber led the race for the most part but a gearbox problem in lap 39 forced the Australian to retire and so smash his dreams of gaining an Indian podium finish.

Webber’s bad luck exit help Kimi Raikkonen to second, the Lotus driver attempting to make it to the finish with a 52-lap stint on medium Pirellis. But the fresh tyre runners push down him to seventh place.

Nico Rosberg finished second ahead of Lotus Romain Grosjean, the Frenchman finish for a third in straight race from seventeenth on the grid.

Felipe Massa managed fourth ahead of McLaren’s Sergio Perez and Mercedes Lewis Hamilton.
