Vettel stays top in second practice for Indian GP



redb-vett-budd-2013-4-470x318Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull racing stays in second Indian Grand Prix practice. Early part of the second practice session Lotus’ Kimi Raikkonen lead with 01:28.419.

But the Finn drop-down, when his team-mate Romain Grosjean and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton improve their lap-time. Other vital time posted during the early part of the session Nico Rosberg beating top man Mark Webber by just 0.001 seconds with medium compounds.

Sebastian Vettel set best session time with a 1:25.722s following the session Red Bull tested race set-up and the duo switched into long-stint tyre effort.

Lotus speedy Romain Grosjean set third fastest ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. Fernando Alonso struggled in the morning session with gearbox issues Alonso and he took fifth fastest ahead of Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg. His team-mate Felipe Massa finished with seventh.

Lotus’ Kimi Raikkonen managed eighty fastest ahead of McLaren duo Sergio Perez and Jenson Button. Maldonado only speedy struggled with a remarkable incident when his Williams drop a wheel-nut on track and the Venezuelan missed the final 20 minutes of running.
