Vettel stormed in night race at Marina Bay circuit for Singapore GP and easily took tricky race top podium from the Pole position. The German also added that this is a team victory.

One word: super! Vettel said during the Q&A with Formula1.com, But I have said over the team radio that this is a team victory because on a track like Singapore everything has to fall into place – the car, the strategy and the window of flexibility. And today everything worked just perfectly.”

“But that comes, of course, with a price: when others are already sitting at the poolside we are still in the paddock working meticulously on the smallest detail. So yes, success has its price. (laughs) But it does make a difference over a race weekend – and over the whole season.”

Vettel described about his emphasizing performance, “Those laps where I tried to get everything out of the car and myself – where I was absolutely on the limit on the harder tyres to build up a gap, and then when we switched to the supersofts when everybody was on the harder compound – we knew that we could take it a bit easier as the supersofts were almost one and a half seconds faster.”

“ Towards the end I think that Fernando (Alonso) and Kimi (Raikkonen) were in a similar position, trying to bring their position to the chequered flag, as at this stage of the race there was no real attack coming from them.”

Added about the way to his fourth title… ”Hold on. There are still six races to go, so we have to keep cool and keep our feet on the ground. But tonight we will celebrate with the team – we will definitely have a ball. And then let’s focus on the next race.”
