Lewis-Hamilton_2999692Lewis Hamilton admits that generally it was his really poor qualifying session, and he added that drove like an “idiot” for Italian Grand Prix. Even as he not claimed that Adrian Sutil impeding move cost his qualifying time.

The Brit speedy made a mistake during Q2 in the exit of Parabolica (run wide into the gravel), tomorrow he will start from the 12th on the grid.

“It was generally a really poor qualifying session,” said Hamilton. “I didn’t put one single lap together in Q2. I just drove like an idiot. That is the worst I have driven for a long, long time. I am sorry for the team.”

Race stewards are investigating Force India driver Sutil for blocking Hamilton’s final lap at the Parabolica.

But the Brit admits that Sutil had been impeding, he did not believe it was the main issue in his disappointing performance.

“It doesn’t matter anyway,” he said of the Sutil incident. “I should have done it on the lap before anyway.”
