Congrats for your 30th career pole position! Good Luck tomorrowLewis Hamilton took pole position with a 1:19.388; reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel set second row tomorrow race grid for 2013 Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix.

Hamilton says that he was very surprised to outpace dominated Sebastian Vettel in qualifying for Hungaroring Grand Prix.

“It is special with the temperature and everything going to be very tough, but I was very surprised when I came across the line. I expected Sebastian to get it [pole position], I thought he made a mistake or something. It didn’t even feel that great a lap.” Hamilton said during the post-qualifying press conference.

“It’s a long way to Turn 1, so to get there first and hold position is advantageous,” the 2008 World Champion explained. “These guys [Red Bull and Lotus] are going to be ridiculously fast, so holding on to them is going to be a challenge tomorrow.”

Following the Q3, Lewis Hamilton was surprised to hear the result by team radio, and he responded: “Was that pole?!” and laughing, Hamilton’s engineer told: “Yes, we’re as surprised as you”.
