Rosberg on Pole for Monaco Grand Prix



Nico Rosberg on pole with a 1:13.876 and this is his third Pole position in a row and Lewis Hamilton was just 0.091s slower than his team-mate.

Defending world champion Sebastian Vettel took third place on tomorrow racing grid and his team-mate Mark Webber set fourth place in race grid.

Lotus’s Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso will start form the third row. McLaren Sergio Perez took seventh ahead of Force India’s Adrian Sutil.

Jenson Button will start from ninth on the grid ahead of Toro Rosso’s Jean-Eric Vergne. Nico Hulkenberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Romain Grosjean, Valtteri Bottas, Giedo van der Garde and Pastor Maldonado – all failed to make the top ten.

Paul di Resta, Charles Pic, Esteban Gutierrez, Max Chilton, Jules Bianchi and Felipe Massa all dropped out at the end of Q1.
