Raikkonen handed three-place grid penalty for Malaysian GP

Australian Grand Prix winner Kimi Raikkonen has been receive a three-place grid penalty for the Malaysian Grand Prix.

The race stewards found Lotus’ Kimi Raikkonen impeded Mercedes Nico Rosberg at the end of Qualifying Q3.

The Finn set the seventh fastest time, was deemed to have impeded Rosberg at Turn 14. Tomorrow he will start from tenth on the grid, and it is uphold Jenson Button, Adrian Sutil and Sergio Pérez. The German Nico Rosberg will start from sixth from the race grid.

“It’s obviously disappointing to lose three places on the grid, but we’ll have to see what happens in the race,” said Raikkonen.
