Raikkonen fastest in second practice for Malaysian GP

Australian Grand Prix winner Kimi Raikkonen set top fastest lap-time in second practice for Malaysian GP. During the first hot condition leaders set best lap-time with medium compounds. The Finn was slightly faster than reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel second fastest.

The first half of the session all of the done with Pirelli’s new orange marked hard-compound. But the new compound degrades too much comparatively medium tyre.

Sebastian Vettel set second top fastest lap-time ahead Ferrari’s Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. Opening practice leader Mark Webber managed fifth fastest ahead of Lotus’s Romain Grosjean.

Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton set seventh and ninth fastest lap-time respectively, split by Force India’s Paul di Resta.

Force India’s Adrian Sutil on tenth fastest, but the despite man stayed in the garage following mechanical problem, when rain interrupted the session.

McLaren guys still straggling with off-pace, they are going with wrong with its new car, as it continues to work on its problems. Sergio Perez and Jenson Button set eleventh and twelfth fastest respectively.

Following first one hour of the evening practice session light rain arrived, but just few minutes the guys are rejoined the action with intermediate compound.
