Rosberg fastest on final day of 2013 pre-season F1 testing

Nico Rosberg set fastest lap-time in the final day of 2013 winter test at Barcelona on Sunday. The German was posted quickest on soft tyres with 1:20.130 just before the lunch break.

Rosberg recorded best time with 1:20.130, it is also the quickest lap seen at the Spanish circuit in 2013 F1 season.

Most teams examined today evening with high fuel load and also front runner focused on longer runs and completed over 100 laps.

Fernando Alonso set second fastest with soft compound with 1:20.494 and successively completed 120 laps, McLaren’s Jenson Button took third fastest lap-time with a 1:21.444 in morning session.

Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg set fourth fastest ahead of Lotus Kimi Raikkonen, in the morning session of final day the Finn waiting in garage following gear box problem. He completed just 50 laps, mostly tested with soft compound.

Force India’s Paul di Resta set sixth fastest ahead of Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado, the Williams speedy set fastest lap-time in the final moment of the testing.

Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel has set eighth fastest ahead of Williams second guy Valtteri Bottas.

Caterham’s Charles Pic managed tenth quickest ahead of Marussia’s fresh speedy Jules Bianchi, Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo and Marussia’s Max Chilton set 12th and 13th quickest respectively.
