Lewis Hamilton targeting to smash Top Gear record

2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton comeback to Top Gear on Sunday to challenge to set the fastest time in the shows practically priced car.

The British speedy Lewis Hamilton aims to cut off costly tenths of a second off his earlier lap in a proposal to become the fastest professional on the circuit.

Mercedes AMG new recruit formerly participated on the BBC motoring show in 2007, and he set a time of 1:44.7 in the Suzuki Liana used by any F1 drivers taking on the challenge of the Top Gear test track.

But, Lewis Hamilton’s time was set on a wet track and has been beaten by Nigel Mansell (1:44.6), Rubens Barrichello (1:44.3) and Sebastian Vettel (1:44.0).

“This time the track is dry and Lewis is taking no prisoners in his attempts to smash the lap record.” The BBC said.

Hamilton told his supporters last month that he would be making a repeat form, posting on Twitter: “I’ll be back on Top Gear soon…..can’t wait.”
