Schumacher quickest in Friday Practice 2 for Australian GP

Michael Schumacher set top fastest lap-time in rain-affected track condition in Australian GP Friday Practice two at Melbourne. Mercedes AMG’s Schumi done with top time 1:29.183.

Force India speedy Nico Hulkenberg set second quickest time, the young German set a best time of 1:29.292. Sauber F1’s Sergio Perez has done third fastest time with 1:30.199.

The Spaniard Fernando Alonso set fourth best-time. Ferrari speedy Alonso first ran with intermediate tyres in the middle of the session, and he was set a best time of 1:30.341. Sauber F1’s Kamui Kobayashi set the fifth top time with a 1:30.709, he was ran wide at the last curve at the end of the session and short spinning on the main start/finish straight.

Force India new speedy set top fastest and best time of 1:31:466 ahead of Brazilian Felipe Massa following getting better from his spin in free Practice one. The Finn Heikki Kovalainen and Caterham expecting more progress in this season and he set eighth fastest.

Mercedes AMG’s Nico Rosberg and Red Bull Racing’s world champion Sebastian Vettel completed the top ten. The local boy Red Bull Racing’s Mark Webber has done eleventh fastest lap-time and just .104sec behind his team-mate Vettel.

First practice top runner Jenson Button was set only 15th fastest and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton just behind the Button and Williams F1 Pastor Maldonado and Lotus speedy Kimi Raikkonen finished seventeenth and eighteenth fastest lap respectively.

The Brazilian youngster Bruno Senna set 19th fastest and Toro Rosso duo Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo set 20th and 21st fastest lap respectively. Charles Pic done 22nd quickest, Indian speedy Narain Karthikeyan and his team-mate De La Rosa set penultimate and last place, Narain Karthikeyan stopped out on track following the session end with hydraulic problem.
