Published

on

2008 Brazilian GP began with Hamilton leading the points table with Massa following closely on 2nd spot. Massa had taken pole position and looked confident of winning the race. Massa had to win the race and Hamilton had to finish no less than the 5th position. Massa had lead the race from the start and had Alonso and teammate Raikkonen in 2nd and 3rd positions. Vettel, surprisingly had an awesome race and was in the 4th position. Hamilton in 5th position looked quite comfortable to win the championship.

In the last moments of the race, it started to rain again and drivers headed into the pits to change to intermediate tires. Alonso and Raikkonen changed tires and Hamilton followed suit. Massa waited to see what others were upto and finally decided to change his tires. He regained his 1st position after exiting from the pits. Vettel was now in 6th position was fighting with Hamilton for the 5th position. This is when our man, Timo Glock gains limelight.

Timo Glock is the man of the moment especially after making himself a name in the final lap of the Brazilian grand prix and eventually deciding who should be the World Champion of the 2008 season.
