Vettel: This place is very tricky in many ways

Sebastian Vettel admire Red Bull’s overnight pace and says he was not very happy with Friday Practice pace. And now he is happy with Pole and he added that this place is very tricky in many ways.

Double time world champion Sebastian Vettel now on a equal to a record, 14 pole in one season, he is now same row with former World Champion Nigel Mansell’s record.

“To be honest I wasn’t very happy with the car yesterday, so we thought there was more performance in the car but we couldn’t really get it,” Vettel explained in post press conference.

“This afternoon it was quite a bit better, but to be honest this place is very tricky in many ways. On the one hand we have practice in day conditions, the sun is up and the track is a little bit hotter.

“Then in the evening we have qualifying and the race, so the circuit is quite a bit different. The car behaves differently and the tyres come in differently, so it’s not easy to get that right all the time. In qualifying in particular I had a much better feeling, especially moving onto the Soft tyres. It is very easy to lose a lot of time, so I was not so happy with my first run in Q3,” he said. “With the second run I was much happier, especially the first two sectors, so with that I was buying myself a little bit of a cushion in the last sector. All in all it was enough to jump ahead of Lewis who has looked very strong all weekend!”
