2011 Italian GP Results, Teams preview and Reports

The Italian GP is one of the greatest events on the F1 grand prix calendar. The first event was held in September 1921 at Brescia and was won by Jules Goux.

Monza hosted the 1922 event and when the race joined the permanent F1 calendar in 1950 it has taken place at the venue ever since. The only other event to have appeared every year since 1950 is the British Grand Prix.

The Italian GP counted toward the European Championship from 1935 to 1938. It was designated the European GP seven times between 1923 and 1967, when this title was an honorary designation given each year to one grand prix race in Europe… Read Full
