Senna will replace Heidfeld for Belgium GP – Jordan

Aug.23 – The Brazilian Bruno Senna will replace Nick Heidfeld for the Belgium GP this weekend, according to BBC pundit Eddie Jordan. The German Nick Heidfeld was drafted into Renault after ex team-mate Robert Kubica was seriously injured in his rallying accident of February.

Following a promising start when Vitaly Petrov was third in Australia and then Heidfeld also finished third in Malaysia, it’s been an unacceptable season for the team as it has slipped back in to the midfield.

“I’m happy with his first part of the season but not totally happy with his leadership and performing within the team,” Lopez said. “We brought Nick in because he’s a much more experienced driver than Vitaly and he did a very good job with the podium in Malaysia but he has not consistently been what we would want from an experienced driver like him.”
