Aug.18 – Dual time world champion Fernando Alonso says the Italian outfit target to win all race in the remainder of this season, the same time he added Ferrari wants Vettel to have failures. The Spaniard currently sits 89 points at the back Vettel in the standings .

“Ferrari cannot go to races not thinking about winning,” Alonso told Marca. “But we are realists and know how difficult it is. We need Vettel to have failures.”

The Ferrari driver Alonso acknowledged he was more convinced over Ferrari’s ability to close the gap 2012, mainly having seen the instant progress that have come about as part of the team restructuring which saw technical director Aldo Costa replaced.

“Of course we can catch them (Red Bull),” insisted Alonso. “The rules have changed, the blown diffusers will be forbidden, so the philosophy in the development and in the wind tunnel has to change. I have noticed more desire and general optimism, more speed in decision-making, more courage in the development. Yes, we have improved the structure and how we work.”
