Rosberg is really one of the best qualifier – Schumacher

Aug.17 – Seven times world champion Michael Schumacher says he is disappointed with qualifying performance, Rosberg is really one of the best qualifier in the field, his performance here is impressive, he added.

Schumi currently ninth on the drivers championship with 32 points, But his team-mate Nico Rosberg seventh on the drivers championship with 48 points, Nico every time out-qualifies his team-mate, with Schumacher starting further up the grid on only one occasion this season.

“You’re right, it looks at me in the race usually looks better than in qualifying,” Schumacher said in a fan Q&A with Auto motor und sport. There are many reasons that would be very complicated to explain, here and there had also been technical problems sometimes.

But Nico is really one of the best qualifier in the field, his performance here is impressive,” he added.

After the last qualifying performance at Hungary he was finished once again behind Rosberg, Schumacher reacted about his qualifying pace:

“Well, of course I’m disappointed if my qualifying performance is not up to my expectations. But this is just a snapshot. It does not change the fact that I am not deterred by setbacks and failures and don’t stop them from continuing to work towards our goal. I am firmly convinced that Mercedes will once again secure victories and be a World Championship contender,” he added.
