Aug.04 – Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has refused to rule out a upcoming move to Ferrari but insists he is not presently thinking of joining to Ferrari. The Ferrari F1 team Principal Stefano Domenicali has formerly said that his team could try to sign the previous world champion even if it means pairing him with Fernando Alonso again.

But 2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton hinted that he may still be open to driving for Ferrari, although he says he has no plans of pursuing the switch at the moment.

“At the moment I don’t have any plans to do so, it is not something I desire or feel that I have to do,” he told Spanish newspaper AS. But we are talking about a fantastic team and you never know what could happen in the future.” He said.

“Alonso is a very, very fast driver, incredibly fast, with extraordinary talent and incredible speed. You know that he will always give his best,” Hamilton added. I learned a lot with him as a driver, I improved my driving thanks to having him as a team-mate.”
