Aug.01 – Lewis Hamilton disappointed about fail to spot Hungarian GP podium, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team Principal Martin Whitmarsh says Hamilton accepted his drive-through penalty, he was received the penalty for spin-turning into the path of Paul di Resta.

But Martin Whitmarsh was satisfied with his driver’s more tranquil reaction this Sunday.

“Lewis was in the pits six times this afternoon and he got his drive-through penalty for putting Paul on the grass,” the Team Principal explained. He’ll be disappointed because he’d like to have been standing on the top step of the podium alongside Jenson (Button), but he accepted his penalty well. He kept his cool and overtook another couple of cars as a result. His resulting fourth place gave him – and us – 12 valuable World Championship points.”
