July.30 – The championship leader Sebastian Vettel back on top in third practice for Hungarian GP and he strike Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso. Following first and second practice Vettel was dissatisfied; RB7 used its first blackout exception of the year to work into the night trying to improve the set-up.

Vettel’s qualifying-style lap was even faster, the championship leader timing a 1m21.168s to end the session. Ferrari Fernando Alonso was set second fastest with 1m:21:469s and McLaren’s Jenson Button took third fastest 1m:21:639s , his team-mate Lewis Hamilton did not get a opportunity to show what he could do at the end. Lewis Hanilton ran wide at curve 1 at the start of what would have been his first flying lap on super softs, reported over the radio that the brakes “did not work” and pitted after one more lap. That left Hamilton seventh in the end.

Red Bull’s Mark Webber was just back Button in fourth for Red Bull, ahead of Felipe Massa – the Ferrari driving having been some small mistakes on his super soft run.
