Vettel grab pole from McLaren for Hungarian GP

July.30 – Championship leader Sebastian Vettel come-back on top in Hungarian grand prix qualifying session with a flying late attempt in Q3. Vettel trailing at the back McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton as he began his second and final attempt at the end of Q3, but saved his best until last as he lapped the Hungaroring in 1m19.815s, just 0.163 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamiton.

2009 world champion Jenson Button set third fastest, Felipe Massa last attempt and he done fourth on the grid, downgrade his team-mate Fernando Alonso to fifth and the Red Bull Mark Webber to sixth on the grid.

Force India Adrian Sutil keep his form and he was a outstanding eighth on the grid, split Mercedes duo Rosberg and Schumacher. Sauber’s Sergio Perez, who will start from 10th on the grid.

Paul di Resta will stra from 11th. The Renaults of Vitaly Petrov and Nick Heidfeld were 12th and 14th, split by Kamui Kobayashi’s Sauber, while Rubens Barrichello and Jaime Alguersuari were next up for Williams and Toro Rosso.

Williams duo Barrichello and Maldonado did not qualify in Q2, following the Venezuelan pulled himself into the session at the very end of Q1 with a flying lap.
The star of Q1 was Heikki Kovalainen, who put his Lotus 19th and just over 0.1s behind Buemi. His team-mate Jarno Trulli start will 19th, Virgin’s Timo Glock and HRT drivers Vitantonio Liuzzi and Daniel Ricciardo, all of whom will move ahead of Buemi once his five-place grid penalty for colliding with Heidfeld in German last weekend is applied.
