F1 Teams think about charter flights from China

Published

on

Some teams are weighing up whether private jets can be chartered out of Shanghai as the bulk of the Formula 1 groups remains in China due to the current travel chaos reason by the volcanic ash cloud which keep on to affect international flights in and out of Europe (UK).

Even if a number of drivers and team members have presently left the Shanghai International Circuit, skulled in directions other than Europe or on dramatic detour to the continent via land, air and water, most are still in China and until news on the strange condition. Happily, there is a 3-week break among China and the Spanish Grand Prix although the race in Barcelona marks the important start to the European season and always involves a major number of car improve, which are generally flown to the venue from teams’ bases – many of which are in the UK, where air space will remain closed until as a minimum Seven pm on Monday.

Most recent weather forecasts prove that the cloud – create in Iceland – carry on to cover the UK as well as France and locations as south as Spain, where all airports were closed on Sunday but are now start to reopen. It is also assumed that the cloud could begin affecting America’s east coast by Monday sunset.
