Nico Rosberg dissatisfied to Miss Pole Position

Published

on

After Fantastic qualifying in Bahrain on Friday, Nico Rosberg was dissatisfied to have missed out on pole in qualifying will start the Bahrain GP from fifth on the grid. Even though he has out-qualified more skilled team partner Michael Schumacher, Nico hopes for more on Sunday race. Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton locking out the front two rows of the grid, previous Williams driver Rosberg missed a second row slot by just 24 thousandths of a second.

Straight way, we were eager for a bit more today although we were lacking the pace to face right at the front so I guess we should not be too dissatisfied, said the son of 1982 World Champion Keke. It was so hard out there with the tyres overheating. If you made a small error and got over steer, you lost a lot of grip for the next little corners. It’s going to be very significant to look after the tyres tomorrow in the race. Generally, it’s a good start for me and, with a bit of luck, we should be talented to challenge for a podium place tomorrow.
