Ferrari’s Felipe Massa is worried that slow cars landed by the new teams could create racing risky and believes their presence will bad for the sport.

Hispania Racing, Virgin and Lotus F1 will every one came to the Bahrain GP, anywhere they are predictable to be up to four or five seconds off the speed of the face runners. Within an article on its website previous month, The Ferrari was candidly serious of the new teams’ state of training and questioned the FIA’s selection process. With just one week awaiting the first race, Massa has also spoken his concerns. I trust they not want be a hazard, he is quoted as telling on Ferrari’s website.

Here is six or seven teams one second ‘apart at the face’, as persons teams are four seconds at the back. It is bad for the sport and bad for them, it is like two dissimilar sequences. They will undergo. And we’ll suffer too, when we have them in front of us during qualifying. He too expects Williams to be challenging next to the top four teams at the front of the field, after observing everybody form in pre-season testing.

We are always surveillance the others, not just their best time, but also race simulations, he said. The result is that there are a lot of spirited teams: Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, maybe Williams. And we are in there for sure.
