Chaos at Singapore GP start – Vettel, Verstappen and Raikkonen out

Ferraris collide at first corner and both Raikkonen and Vettel out of race; Verstappen also out.

At the start of the race – Huge crash between Max Verstappen and Ferrari drivers Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel.

Raikkonen punctured Vettel’s sidepod which left his radiator dumping fluid on the circuit, Verstappen was hit twice by Raikkonen and the McLaren of Fernando Alonso.

“I think it’s Vettel’s fault as he didn’t realise his team-mate was there and squeezed Verstappen,” Brundle says.

“If you’re going to blame anybody, you have to blame Vettel. There was nowhere Verstappen could go.”

“Vettel apologized pretty profusely and miserably on the radio to the team when they had to tell him to turn the car off,” reports Sky Sports F1 pit-lane reporter Ted Kravitz.
