Sergio Perez to be latest F1 father

Force India F1 speedy, Sergio Perez is set to become the latest F1 father.

The news was reported by the newspaper Chancha, revealing that the the Mexican F1 ace’s girlfriend Carola is expected to give birth after the 2017 season.

“I never speak about my private life, but I am in the best moment of my life and happier than ever,” said the Mexican. “It is a great blessing.”

Other fathers on the current F1 grid are Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean and Felipe Massa.

Sergio Perez is 27.

Celis receives first practice outings of season

Force India scheduled practice duty to reserve driver Alfonso Celis Jr in Friday practice for the first time this season at the Austrian and Hungarian Grands Prix.

Celis received six Friday practice in last season, but his only on-track entrances for the team so far this year have been in winter and post-Bahrain GP testing.

Force India has announced that Sergio Perez will step aside for Celis on Friday morning at the Red Bull Ring next week, with Esteban Ocon doing so at the Hungaroring in a month’s time.
