Mercedes speedy Lewis Hamilton has claimed pole position for Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix. The brit has set a flying lap a 1:31.678 for the Chinese GP following turning the fastest lap ever around the Shanghai International Circuit.
Practice pace-setter Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel will start alongside with Hamilton, the German splitting the Mercedes duo with Valtteri Bottas in third.
The top four starting grid line-up remains the same as it was in Australia with Kimi Raikkonen will start from fourth, but this time it’s the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo who qualified fifth.
Felipe Massa, Nico Hulkenberg, Sergio Perez, Daniil Kvyat and Lance Stroll rounded out the top 10. Seven different teams are appeared in the top 10.
