Happy birthday, Lewis Hamilton! turns 32 today.

Happy birthday, Lewis Hamilton! As the triple time, Formula 1 world champion celebrates turning 32. Hi, all Hamilton’s and F1’s fans, let’s take part of it to wish him a Happy Birthday.

Lewis Hamilton hardly dreamed to become a F1 champion – his father bought him his first go-kart at the age of six and by the age of eight Hamilton was winning premium class championships.

At the age of ten, the Brit reportedly approached McLaren F1 team ex-boss Ron Dennis for an autograph, and told him: “Hi. I’m Lewis Hamilton. I won the British Championship and one day I want to be racing your cars.”

Dennis delivered on his promise and signed Hamilton to the McLaren driver development program in 1998 (Lewis in nine years old).

By 2007, Lewis found himself as a new McLaren F1 driver, and in his first race ever finished on the podium in third, but by the end of the 2008 season, Lewis found himself as the youngest driver to ever win the F1 championship.

Hamilton became the double time World Champion after winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2014, At the end of the year, Hamilton was awarded with the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award.

He carried that energy into 2015, winning 10 times to become a three-time world champion and the first Briton to secure back-to-back titles.

2016 Formula 1 gifted him a displeased record for the most wins a F1 season without winning the World Championship, after winning 10 times in the 2016 season where he finished runner-up to team-mate Nico Rosberg.
