Nico Rosberg will start Sunday’s Singapore Grand Prix from pole position following dominating qualifying performance at Marina Bay ahead of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo by half a second, championship leader and team mate Lewis Hamilton set third place on the grid.

Last year Singapore GP winner, Sebastian Vettel was left fuming on Saturday when suspension problems knocked him out of the Q1 of qualifying for the Singapore GP – resulted the German will start from the back of the grid.

Red Bull cars start the race on harder tires than the Mercedes, allowing them to go longer Sunday before pitting.
