Sebastian Vettel adapted a gearbox change ahead of qualifying for the British GP, the Ferrari driver thus receiving a five-place grid penalty for the second race in sequence.
Vettel had another trouble start to a wet day when he told the team over the radio following his final lap during the FP3: “I think we failed another gearbox”.

The German adapted a five-place grid penalty in Austria last weekend for an unscheduled gearbox change.
It was comparatively a poor session for Ferrari, with Kimi Raikkonen ninth quickest, eight tenths off Vettel’s time.
Marcus Ericsson will also receive a new gearbox following huge crash in FP3.
