Lewis Hamilton was once again fastest during second practice for the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, beating Daniel Ricciardo by almost four-tenths to post a lap of 1m31.660s.

Daniel Ricciardo set second fastest lap-time ahead of his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel ended the session fourth-fastest, nine-tenths of a second off Hamilton at the top, while Kimi Raikkonen finished fifth in the second SF16-H car.
Fernando Alonso continued McLaren’s strong start to the weekend in P6 ahead of Williams’ Valtteri Bottas, with Haas driver Romain Grosjean following in P8. Jenson Button and Felipe Massa rounded out the top 10 in FP2.
