Lewis Hamilton set fastest lap-time in final practice session in Baku on Saturday, ahead of the first qualifying battle on the brand new circuit.
Hamilton was edging his team-mate and title leader Nico Rosberg by a two tenth of a second on the hard Baku street circuit.
Mercedes again showed dominant pace over nearest rivals, with Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg third fastest but 1.2 seconds off Hamilton’s time.
Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo was fourth, ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in fifth. The session ended under a red flag due to debris on track after a collision by Force India’s Sergio Perez with the same trackside barrier that caught out Ricciardo on Friday.
Renault powered cars are entirely struggling, Max Verstappen is highest quicker Renault-powered driver in seventh.
Jenson Button managed to put eighth fastest time ahead of Daniil Kvyat in the Toro Rosso, Raikkonen’s Ferrari in 10th and teammate Fernando Alonso in 11th.
