Hamilton stays on top as Rosberg breaks down in FP2

Lewis Hamilton stays at the top of the times during second practice for the European Grand Prix, ahead of his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who stopped prematurely following unknown engine issue.

Hamilton produced a time of 1:44.223 during the red wall Super-Soft tyre runs, six tenths up on Rosberg, and a further one clear of Sergio Perez.

Drivers continuously ran off due to the bumpy, windy and low-grip Baku street circuit condition.

Force India’s Sergio Perez was third fastest ahead of Williams’ Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg even as Ferraris hit MGU-K troubles.
