Max Verstappen must been summoned to see the Canadian GP race stewards following allegedly delaying Bottas during FP1 opening practice session.

The Dutch man was slowly running at the final chicane, as he made a gap for his next flying lap, when Williams’ Bottas tried a fastest lap, approached at top speed.

Following the blocking, where the Finn was forced to run across the chicane, Bottas said on the radio: “Come on, did you see that?” to which a Williams engineer replied: “Copy that… dangerous.”

As FP1 concluded, Verstappen ended the session in P4, while Bottas ended the morning session sixth fastest.
