Rosberg claims fifth consecutive pole in Brazil

Nico Rosberg took pole position for Brazilian Grand Prix; Interlagos pole marks his fifth consecutive pole. Champion Lewis Hamilton beaten by less than a tenth of a second despite being quickest in both Q1 and Q2 .

Rosberg set a fastest lap time of 1:11.282 to edge out Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton by just 0.078 seconds in the final stage of qualifying.

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel will start the race from third ahead of Williams’ Valtteri Bottas and the second Ferrari speedy Kimi Raikkonen… more to follow
