Championship leader Lewis Hamilton forced to retire from the Singapore GP following hit by multiple issues, the Brits’s DNF will awaken everyone chasing him for the world championship

Hamilton was running fourth when he complained about power-loss on lap 23 and quickly fall-down the order as he began lapping 14secs adrift. This is first retirement since the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix.

“Real shame man, I think I had the pace to win,” Hamilton laments. Mercedes also fancied their strategy was good enough for victory.
